Well, here I am. Again. I'm sick of this shit. Feeling like a piece of crap, feeling huge, feeling unattractive. Just plain feeling gross. So, I will start to eat better. And workout. I will start out 3 days per week, and work up to 5 days per week (working out, that is). I have been looking for the damn key to the treadmill for two days and I can't find the effing thing. so, it looks like it will be running outside in the cold morning. *sigh* I hate doing that. Oh well. At least it will be something.....

As for eating, well, I guess regular Pepsi is out and Diet is back in. Ugh. I so have enjoyed the regular. And more water....LOTS more water. It will be good for my kidneys, too, as I have been having some issues there. and I will have to start eating every 2-3 hrs again, rather than 2 or 3 times per day. This is going to take effort, but dammit, I'm going to get this done!

yeah, I know...I tend to get that way and the worse I feel about how I look, the worse I put myself down. It's sick, really.

We can do this guys!!! No better time than the present..Smile. (I'm trying to be positive..LOL).

I too am doing the eating thing every 2-3 hours. I bring an Activia yogurt to work with me and have that around 10AM. If I forget I go to McDonalds and get one of their fruit and yogurt parfaits from the $1 menu. They're pretty good!!

In the afternoon I will bring 1/2 of my sandwich from lunch and have that about 3:00..that way I'm not ravenous when I get home from work and eat ANYTHING that I can get my hands on. Snacking is what gets me into BIG trouble.

Last week if I got hungry I would open up a can of beets or yellow string beans and would eat the whole can!! Only 90 calories and it seemed to work.

If I can get my butt on that treadmill it will help. I hate doing exercise for nothing..it tends to keep me in line to see how hard I have to work to burn off what goes in my mouth.

Joy, you seem to ahve your shiznit together! Great!

Well, I did the treadmill for 30+ mins this morning. It felt great, although I really dragged my feet before then. Didn't want to do it, necessarily, but as always, I made myself do it and I felt good! Other than my caffeine withdrawal headache I'm feeling great!

Riding at 12:30 today and then I go to teach a lesson at 5.

I had a tiny teaspoon of peanut butter and some water after my workout. Yeah, some breakfast. LOL And then I had some Spaghetti Os for lunch. Not the greatest, but better than one of those table talk pies and a soda!

Peanut butter and water? For breakfast!!! You can't live on that woman!!!

Don't you just love being the first person to take a scoop out of the jar of peanut butter though? LOL

I had 1 serving of Maple/Brown Sugar Mini Wheats for breakfast and 1 slice of toast.

I had my Activia at 10:00 AM

I had 1 can of yellow string beans and 1/2 a can of solid white tuna for lunch

I had 48 pretzel sticks at 3:00 - only 100 calories!!

And, I'm planning to have chop suey for supper made with whole wheat pasta and a salad. I'm going to skip the garlic bread though!!! That's my favorite part!!

Probably popcorn for a snack later in the evening.

If I have done my calculations right I should come in around 1600 calories and if I walk for an hour it will be even less!!

Now, if I can keep this up for more than I week I'll be in business...seems to be what happens to me though...Sad.

1 tsp PB
water
spaghetti Os
water
diet pepsi
table talk pie Embarassed
handful peanuts
1.5c cheeze its

So far.....and it's not even dinner time. LOL And dinner won't be all that great: Keilbasa, Steak Fries and a veggie. Yeah, I know.....but we have to go shopping and until we get some $, we can't.

So, that's it for me. Ick.

I have to go shopping just 'cause there isn't anything in the house to eat!!!

Another thing that got me going on this was something that I saw on TV recently.

A woman was telling what motivated her to lose some weight; she said she was walking down the street and passed by a homeless person sitting on the sidewalk. He said to her, "You know why there's no food in me? Because there is too much food in you."

She said that really hit home with her and it did with me too. Why should I over eat when some people don't even get to eat?

Today wasn't bad. I didn't do well with workouts yesterday, but I did ok with the eating department. Very Happy Today, I did well on all accounts. I'm very happy with that. Very Happy

Maybe it's wishful thinking, but I feel like I'm a little thinner. I have been drinking diet pepsi, so that's been good, but I haven't worked out since Wednesday and I haven't had a lot of water. *sigh* I'm not sure why I think I'm thinner, given what I just admitted to, but still, my pants seem a bit looser tonight....

Although I have several reasons why I didn't workout or eat exactly as I should have, I'm not going to write them down. They don't matter. They are just excuses. Once the stuff in my life calms down a bit, I will get back to doing it. I know....it's putting it off, but I won't be really. I'm going to continue to watch what I eat (I've been doing better, though not great), even if I don't end up getting on the treadmill.

Well, last week, I didnt' do too badly. I worked out 3 days and it felt good. Eating? Well, let's just say I have a ways to go. but I have started back on the road to good health. THAT makes me happy.
